Dredd 3D

Watched it last night and thought it was a fantastic film.

Considering the low budget, they did a fine job of showing the Judges and the "job" they do.
The Judges looked like Judges should, big, grizzly, snarley mouthed and with big fuck off chins. Karl Urban played Dredd as he should be played, straight faced and violent.

The violence is incredible. Dredd is as brutal as the bad guys, just like the comic book.

I loved it, but unfortunately there will be no sequel as it's tanked in the States, because, as usual, they just don't get Dredd.

I'm giving it ten out of ten. For the budget, they couldn't have done it any better.

$45m - $50m is hardly a low budget KC.....

...That sort of budget could have helped make 45-50 great movies in the right hands....

.....instead, they made that.....what a shame.
......waiting for the great leap forwards [smilie=icon_paper.gif]

do you think they'll make a big-budget, 3D movie version of tawdry TV legal drama & Martin Shaw vehicle Judge John Deed ?
